The simplicity of the place is perfect for guests with children, with wooden furniture and walls that create a comfortable and cozy atmosphere. The breakfast at the hotel is delicious, with a variety of fresh fruit options that are sure to satisfy even the pickiest eaters. The view of the sunset at Hotel El Atardecer is absolutely stunning, offering a picturesque outlook on Nicoya Bay. We felt immediately at home at Hotel El Atardecer and had nothing to complain about.

The rooms were small but the huge terrace with a roof made up for the lack of space. The beds were comfortable and everything was very clean. As vegetarians and vegans, we appreciated the option of having a supermarket close by.
We felt very at home at Hotel El Atardecer and nothing was too much trouble.

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The room may have been small, but the huge terrace with a roof more than made up for it. The beds were incredibly comfortable and everything was spotlessly clean. The view from the terrace was breathtaking and the privacy was a bonus. Although the hotel is slightly outside the center, it was still very close and easily accessible to everything. There is even a supermarket nearby, which was convenient.
Nothing, all was good.

The hotel is conveniently located close to the town center, with easy access to restaurants and shopping. The rooms are clean and the beds are comfortable. The staff is friendly and helpful. Guests can enjoy a delicious homemade breakfast and relax in the chill room while watching the beautiful sunset.
The hotel's WiFi signal is not strong in the rooms located away from the router.

I recently stayed at Hotel El Atardecer for a week and it was wonderful. The room was spotlessly clean and the bed was incredibly comfortable. The homemade breakfasts were delicious and the staff were always friendly and eager to help. One of the highlights of my stay was the chill room, where I could relax and enjoy the sunset without being bothered by the wind. The pancakes were definitely worth the hype and the location was perfect, within walking distance of the town center and many great restaurants and coffee shops.
Totally recommend this hotel.

The staff was friendly and helpful throughout my stay. The room was clean and had a comfortable bed, which made for a good night's sleep. The location was convenient, being just a short walk from the city center and the bus station. Plus, the breakfast provided a variety of options, including fresh orange juice and plenty of fruits.
While the room itself was clean and comfortable, it lacked some amenities that would have been useful for a business trip, such as a desk and chair. Additionally, the blanket on the bed seemed worn out.

The location of the hotel was quiet and private, yet still conveniently close to the town center.
We felt right at home at Hotel El Atardecer and had nothing to complain about.

Tasty breakfast with lots of fruit and knowledgeable staff. Good location, just a short walk from the center and the bus station. The room was clean and had a comfortable bed. The hot water in the bathroom was a plus. Breakfast had a variety of options including sweet and salty items, tea, coffee, and fresh orange juice. The staff was friendly and helpful, providing information about local attractions. The hotel was also located near a great soda called La Amistad.
The Wi-Fi didn't work well in the rooms. There was limited seating in the room, only beds were available to sit on.
